We would like to be able to pull this data into ArcGIS Online so that it can be added to apps, dashboards and story maps. It would be helpful for CaBA Catchment Partnerships and Rivers Trusts who use flow (and rainfall data) on a regular basis for integrated catchment management. Some examples might be:
- Combining with other data in catchment story maps (e.g. West Cumbria Catchment Mapping Portal: https://wcrt.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=d4bc74ba52a2455695444559164d3eac)
- Creating educational resources for schools (e.g. Eden Rivers Trust GIS for secondary schools - Hydrology and Investigating River Catchments: https://edenriverstrust.org.uk/secondary-schools/)
- Creating live dashboards - e.g. for NFM monitoring, abstraction management etc.
- And many more!
Definitely. One of the datasets which is more difficult to access than it should be.
The National River Flow Data - validated flows is now available on the Data Services Platform.
