Using WMS service in interactive web mapping - CORS policy

Hi

I am trying to use the WMS feeds for the Environment Agency flood zones in an interactive web map that I have built on OpenLayers. It works fine in Internet Explorer but it doesn't display in Chrome due to a CORS policy issue (No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource).

I think it might be an issue with preflight requests, can I ask whether the server that serves the WMS has been configured correctly so that external applications from different origins should be able to use and display the data without these problems?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your patience while we were investigating this issue. Currently CORS is not enabled in Chrome but we are looking at potential changes to support this.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Could this also be the issue preventing WFS layers from working in ArcGIS online?

Hope to find a solution to these issues soon!

Thanks
