    Why was my account made inactive and how can I reactivate it?


    Users who have not logged into the Defra Data Services Platform for 18 months will receive an email informing them that their account will be made inactive in 2 weeks time. To keep their registered account open, users need to simply log in or contact the DSP Customer Forum to request that their account be activated again.

    If the user does not log in, their account will be deleted 6 months after it being made inactive. A further email notification will be sent to the user prior to account deletion. 

    PLEASE NOTE: Removal of a user account means that these users will be no longer able to access restricted data, but it does not remove the availability of open datasets and those under an EA conditional licence.
